Strategy

Reads what is known about this client and their market, then works out what is worth arguing, how to argue it, and writes the copy. Takes a few minutes.

Insights

what is worth arguing, and why only we can

Ernest's proof should be the decision trail of a deal, not a happy client's face — anonymity is what makes the numbers publishable.

killedmechanismdraft

Only we can say it: Most agents' social proof is bound by the client's willingness to be identified, which caps the content at pleasantries. Ernest has an agreed production standard that makes candour filmable — professionally lit, scripted, portrait, with the participant's identity obscured — and existing written case studies to source from. A competitor without an anonymisation-first testimonial protocol either gets a named client saying nothing specific, or nothing at all. This also cannot be copied by screenshotting: it requires the client relationships and the filming setup together.

Critic: The claimed ownability rests on 'professionally lit, scripted, portrait, blurred face' production standards plus case studies — but this is a widely available format, not a proprietary mechanism. Any competitor with a case study and a videographer can blur a face and script candid numbers; the anonymization-first protocol is a production choice, not a structural advantage tied to Ernest specifically. The insight also conflates a production capability (which is real and documented) with a market insight — it's a format decision dressed up as an insight, and format alone doesn't survive the swap test. Could be run unchanged by: Any property agency or coach that films blurred-face, scripted client testimonials with specific numbers (a common format in real estate and financial coaching content).

7 constraints on how this may be written
  • — No Zoom or landscape testimonial footage — controlled setting, portrait, scripted only
  • — Do not claim transaction volume, sales value, rankings, awards or years of experience; no approved fact supports any figure
  • — Do not lead with the agency brand or any 'top agent' framing — credibility supports, it never opens
  • — Do not invent client names, addresses, prices or profit figures to make a case study feel concrete
  • — Do not assume the viewer is mid-transaction or in present-tense distress; buying or selling a home is a rare event and most of the audience is months or years out
  • — Do not promise a price outcome, a timeline or a guaranteed gain
  • — No intro, no scene-setting, no 'in today's property market' — the case must start in the first line
