Reads what is known about this client and their market, then works out what is worth arguing, how to argue it, and writes the copy. Takes a few minutes.
Insights
what is worth arguing, and why only we canMost event agencies rent the interactive stuff. Hydse conceptualises and builds the hardware itself — so the game can be changed on site, not just re-skinned.
killedmechanismdraftOnly we can say it: An agency that subcontracts its interactive builds cannot run this line without inviting the buyer to ask who actually made the rig, and the answer names a third party. Hydse conceptualised and built the hardware and carries design and fabrication inside its own scope, with an award nomination specifically for the gamification of an event. The claim self-disqualifies anyone who outsources.
Critic: The insight assumes in-house fabrication is rare, but plenty of established exhibition and experiential agencies maintain their own build shops and already market 'built not rented' as a claim. The mechanism isn't unique to Hydse — it's a standard differentiator for any firm that vertically integrates design and fabrication, so the 'self-disqualifies anyone who outsources' argument only screens out the subset who outsource, not the competitors who also build in-house. Without a fact showing Hydse's build capability is qualitatively different (e.g. patented tech, unique on-site reconfiguration speed), this is imitable by a named class of competitor. Could be run unchanged by: Any experiential/exhibition agency with an in-house fabrication or build shop (e.g. a large exhibition-stand builder or AV/production house that designs and fabricates its own rigs).
10 constraints on how this may be written
- — Do not lead with, or build the visual around, minister imagery — client rule confines it mainly to award ceremonies and launches so Hydse is not read as government-only.
- — Do not position Hydse as a government or public-sector specialist; private-sector logos lead, government sits underneath as a secondary layer of authority.
- — Do not use testimonials that name project managers who have left, and do not lean on the existing testimonial pool at all — it is limited and several years old.
- — Do not cite project counts, completion rates, client numbers or ROI figures — no approved fact supports any of them.
- — Do not lead with BizSafe Level 3, the 2018/2019 marketing awards or the pending sustainability certification; these are context and proof, never the idea.
- — Do not promise long-form case studies — the site consolidates to roughly five featured events with no long write-ups, refreshed about twice a year.
- — Do not set 'Hydse' in all caps.
- — Do not attach a hard-sell CTA to educational or explanatory content.
- — Do not claim the award has been won — it was a nomination.
- — Do not use a metaphor for the build capability; state it literally.
Angles
an angle and one copy variant must both be approved before anything generates+ Write one by handYour interactive booth can still change two weeks out
mofdraftThree weeks before your exhibition, the client wants the game changed. Now what?
Ask who actually builds the interactive part of your booth
bofapprovedgeneratesThree event proposals. All three promise something interactive. Ask one question and they stop matching.
