HOFT hit their ~$2K monthly account spend cap (client-set, not ours) because they boosted two Instagram posts for ~$900 in September, which paused all ads for about 3 days.
Alexander: don't raise the cap issue with the client now since it resets 1 October; instead ask them in October whether they want to keep boosting posts, as it will cap the account again. Don't tell them lead counts either, since they may not know the ads were paused.

Campaign runs indefinitely at $60/day with no lifetime end dates; the two-week figure is only the client's payment cycle.
Alexander removed the 1–15 October end dates because editing end dates later resets the ads. Standing rule: don't set end dates on daily-budget campaigns.

Run 4 new creatives from the 8 unused ones — videos 2 and 4 (1 and 3 already ran), plus a new image and a new carousel — and keep the remaining four as backup; do not reuse any of the four creatives currently running.
12 creatives were produced originally; 4 have run. Alexander: don't rerun the current four, because if the client asks why we'd have to explain the first month and a half was serving to the wrong audience — an issue that doesn't need raising. Note internally that those four may still work and can be recycled later.

Hoft is design-centric and doesn't want scammy CTAs — use "See Details" or "Learn More"; event ads use "Book Now".
Alexander already changed all the event ads to Book Now and re-ran them.

Keep additional shoots to a minimum — the June batch needed a lot of extra footage and the coordination was a stretch.
Sherman wanted to clarify how much new shooting July requires before proceeding. Atlas is building July around existing B-roll, with new filming only if Hoft has a project worth capturing.

- constraintaudience-network-exclusion2026-10-0117d ago
Exclude placements like Audience Network at campaign level, not via account-level controls.
Account controls lock the exclusion across every future campaign on the account and can misfire if they later want Audience Network on.

Campaign will optimise for the custom Meta lead conversion rather than the standard lead event, and the campaign will not be reset.

The goal is to hold HOFT until mid next month, the end of their cycle; if they show unhappiness, recovery offers are a landing page (preferred) or a free month of media buying.
Alexander prefers offering the LP because it also helps their results; a free month is not ideal.

- decisioncustom-conversion-rule-matching2026-10-0117d ago
Change the Meta custom conversion rule from "equals" to "contains" for the thank-you page URL match, so continuing UTM parameters don't break the match and cause the wrong leads to be counted.
Alexander: "to be safe, you could try to do non equals... you try to do contains" — because UTM params often continue on the URL, an exact-match rule ends up tracking the non-Meta leads instead.

Alexander is not confident in the tracking setup despite the fixes; Event Manager must be monitored closely over the next day to confirm custom lead conversions are counting.
"Tracking wise, I'm not very confident about the tracking to be honest." Also: page view metrics can't be used for conversion rate because of Squarespace limitations — estimate instead.

Nuke and restart the current Meta campaign rather than trying to fix it — turn everything off but do not delete it, so the spend data is preserved.
Alexander Singh said turning off an audience-network-poisoned campaign in place doesn't work well in his experience; best to close everything and rebuild. New ad sets to be scheduled for 1 October.

A company in the client's group hit a CaseTrust accreditation issue — the whole trust angle for the event — forcing last-minute rewrites of all the scripts and a re-shoot.

- decisionthank-you-page-redirect2026-10-0117d ago
Pixel removed from the contact page; the lead event now only fires on the thank-you page.
The initialised pixel on the Squarespace contact page was firing a strong lead signal on form submit, causing double/over counting. Alexander removed it already. UTM params are captured via hidden fields on the contact page form; no need to carry them to the thank-you page since Meta attributes via cookies.

- contexttracking-setup-cost2026-10-0117d ago

Two-hour ad shoot proposed for 17 or 18 June, afternoon preferred so showroom lighting is consistent; Hoft to confirm the day internally by Wed–Thu next week.

Where video b-roll can't be arranged in time, photos (including phone/BTS photos) are accepted as a temporary substitute and will be keyframed so the main edit can proceed.
Nigel: editors will cut the A-roll first so there is at least a video; b-roll can be swapped in later or the posting date pushed back. Jil flagged that photos may make the branding look less consistent with the intended aesthetic.

Update the client that we're scheduling more of the existing creatives, with the goal of bringing cost per lead under $100 (current cycle CPL $155), and tell them once Google source tracking is working.
Alexander will add a standard Google tag/tracker to the site to capture non-Meta sources; the client had asked whether this was possible and isn't expecting it from us, so it's a big value add. Jil to notify them once confirmed. Jonathan to clear any client message with Alexander first.

Atlas suggests putting hiring on the social calendar and boosting/pinning it rather than spending ad budget and ad creative slots on it.
Jil proposed one hiring post on the July or August calendar, pinned to the Instagram profile for long-term visibility, boosted rather than run as an ad — preserving the 4 videos / 4 statics / 4 carousels for the main campaign. Jil will send an article on ads vs boosted posts; Sherman said he has only ever run boosted posts before.

Remove the opening 'Designed by Hoft Collective' scene from script 6 and start directly — it takes 7 seconds before viewers understand the content.
Sherman also flagged that 'Is this your vibe' plus 'Episode One: The Quiet Chef' reads as two competing titles. Nigel and Jil will drop the 'episode one' framing since there's no follow-up planned in July, and will add more kitchen interior B-roll. Sherman noted that if a series is done, elements must stay consistent across episodes so viewers can recognise the sequence without being told.

- decisionsix-house-videography-bundle2026-06-02138d ago
Hoft will go ahead with the 6-house videography bundle to try it out, shooting 2 homes per day (AM and PM slots) across the 2–3 day span, 2 hours per home.
Gabriel: three homes a day would be too hard to arrange logistically. Each home yields one edited home-tour reel (music and text overlay, no voiceover) plus a separate bank of raw footage reserved for Nigel's social content so the same footage isn't posted twice. Jil to assign a videographer with interior design experience and come back with available dates; Gabriel suggested mid-June onwards and needs to sign the agreement and confirm internally. The separate YouTube proposal is deferred — not important at this point in time.

- decisionthumbnail-text-overlay2026-06-09131d ago
Thumbnail text strategy still open — Hoft to discuss with Gabriel and revert; working direction is to alternate text-heavy and text-free covers rather than putting text on everything.
Nigel argued text on thumbnails gives a call to action and context on the grid. Sherman's concern: the current feed mostly has no text, so eight text-heavy posts in a row would look off. TikTok covers generally should carry text. Keep the brand font/styling on any text.

“the lead sheet, if you can see, just every single lead that comes in through their website, meaning that technically during this time period, right, they had 27 leads in total.” — Alexander Singh
“if I were to look at their form field right now, right on on Squarespace, they have about 10 or 11 submissions. Uh, three of which are attributed to Meta based on the UTM parameters.” — Alexander Singh
“So for example 8 to 14 weeks that will be like your 25% of your picture.” — Nigel Tan

“We have shot a lot of bureaus in your office already like we we we shoot you guys working on the com using the autocat or like even doing mboards that one we already have.” — Nigel Tan
