  • constraintclient-shoot-capacity2026-06-19121d ago

Volume must stay sustainable — client cannot manage anything like 20 videos a month, but is fine being pinned down to a locked-in shoot day.

Nigel stressed the plan must be sustainable and enjoyable given client's time. Current cadence discussed: five videos ≈ one a week for one month. Batching multiple videos in one session without releasing them all that month was proposed.

  • constraintpayment-terms-monthly2026-06-19121d ago

Client requests payment for the three-month package be split monthly rather than a lump sum up front.

"I would like to request for like a monthly monthly monthly payment instead of a lump sum." Jil said this should be possible but needs to confirm with management.

7 worth re-confirming before acting on

Nothing has contradicted these, so they are still on the record — but they are old enough that the client may have moved on. Treat them as questions, not instructions.

  • contextexisting-package-status2026-06-19121d ago

The original package was recurring with six statics (aesthetics + carousels), but was halted after one month on the client's instructions; another round remains available for July. The video shoot was a one-time purchase.

Jil clarified this after client asked why statics remained — "I heard from Jin Kardai that we were supposed to just halt everything and just do one month first." Client said they'd address it later but the call ended without returning to it.

  • preferencejourney-series-format2026-06-19121d ago

The "journey" / rags-to-riches storytelling series is the format that works; client likes the high production quality and the subtle product placement in every video.

Nigel said that storytelling concept is what audiences look for now. Client shared internal team feedback was positive on production quality and the persistent, subtle product reminders. Jil noted these series formats travel well on TikTok.

  • decisionshoot-locations2026-06-19121d ago

Vary shooting locations across the factory, their workplace and events rather than filming everything at one site.

Nigel: filming every batch in the same place is noticeable to viewers. Client agreed — "Can we can do other places?" Nigel noted this can be discussed further.

  • preferencestatics-vs-video-balance2026-06-19121d ago

Jil's advice: aesthetics and carousels still matter for brand identity when people land on the Instagram profile — a balance is ideal, though client is prioritising video for now.

Statics show clearly what the brand sells; video builds organic reach and brand authority. Worth revisiting if the client starts promoting the page at events.

  • decisionthree-month-video-plan2026-06-19121d ago

Prepare a three-month plan of pure video — "I'm just going to do pure videos for now... I don't want to do too much statics at this point of time" — then monitor and review before taking it forward.

Client asked Atlas to propose a 3-month video-only cycle, shifting away from statics/aesthetics for now. Plan to be reviewed after the three months.

  • commitmentcat-expo-broll2026-06-19121d ago

Client to capture video and B-roll at the cat expo this Saturday and Sunday for the team to edit into future content.

Client is attending a cat expo the coming weekend; Nigel and Jil asked them to keep the footage as assets.

  • riskvideo-performance-unproven2026-06-19121d ago

Videos have not launched yet; client will monitor the first three or four once live to judge effectiveness and tweak content accordingly.

Jil noted the new work is high-end production rather than the UGC-style video the client previously did themselves, which was what historically drove the most engagement on their page — so it still has to be tested.
